Ever since opening in 2018, there has been an excitement about The Calile Hotel. This luxurious city oasis, positioned in the heart of James St in Fortitude Valley has quickly become one of the most stylish and sought-after wedding venues in Brisbane. Surrounded by high-end designers and fine dining restaurants, The Calile exudes a premium yet relaxed vibe, that feels a little like a Slim Aarons picture.

The hotel is a destination in itself, instantly transporting you to a tropical holiday - you almost forget you’re in Brisbane. The pool area is ridiculously enticing and the suites and rooms are playful and effortlessly cool. The whole building is an architectural dream, full of curves, high-end finishes and pastel tones.

When it comes to Weddings at The Calile, there are multiple ceremony location options. For larger weddings, the Amphitheatre is a white-bricked open air space, elevated above the pool area. There is also the option of a poolside ceremony, positioned in a sheltered space beneath the amphitheatre, this also works as a backup option if the weather is less than favourable.

The Terrace is a large private balcony on the same level as the pool, perfect for smaller weddings. There is also the option of having your ceremony on the rooftop and for elopements the Calile and Ada Suites have private balconies that can accomodate a small group.

When it comes to the reception The Calile has the Grand Rooms, which can be utilised as smaller spaces or opened up to become one large grand room. The arched windows and curved ceiling detail make these spaces feel elegant and beautifully designed, the perfect base to build upon for your wedding styling. The Grand Rooms are also air-conditioned and pillar-less, keeping things comfortable and void of visual obstructions for you and your guests.

Not only is The Calile incredibly aesthetically pleasing, it also gets a massive tick for convenience. When getting married at The Calile you don’t have to go anywhere else, you (and your guests) can get ready in a beautiful room, saunter over to your ceremony space, wander around the vine covered walls of James St for photos and pop up to the rooftop for sunset then head back down to your reception to party the night away, before calling it a night and falling into bed in one of the luxurious suites. Having everything in one flawless location minimises stress and allows you to really soak in every moment.
