It’s no secret that The Calile Hotel is one of our all time favourite venues, so we were very excited when Demi and Lewis locked us in to photograph their gorgeous wedding, and my goodness what a beautiful day. 

The Calile could not have been more perfect for the dreamy and romantic, blush toned aesthetic that Demi and Lewis were going for. From Demi’s bespoke Kate Willa gown, with the most stunning tulle sleeves to their asymmetrical floral arbor created by Unveiling Poppy, every detail was chosen with so much care and came together effortlessly. Not only were the details carefully chosen, but also the group of talented vendors these two chose to make up their dream team, including Kate from the Calile, who is the secret MVP for Calile weddings and Ginelle Dale who worked her hair and makeup magic for Demi.

Beth from I Heart Ceremonies ensured a very lovely and sentimental ceremony, accompanied by some very heartfelt vows, leading to plenty of watery eyes.

There were so many highlights, but one of our favourites was the surprise that Demi prepared for Lewis. Demi organised the coolest vintage convertible Rolls Royce (thanks Wheels to Weddings) to pick them up from the Calile and drive them around for photos. Possibly the most fun moment was driving past the balcony of the Calile and having all their guests wave and cheer, what a fun memory. 

We had the loveliest time with Demi and Lewis, they are just beautiful people, who like us (Trent and Jessie) are a little bit quiet and love quality time with each other. It was so evident just how much these two adore each other and put one another at ease. We had a really great time photographing these two and felt like old friends by the end of the night.
