Where do we begin... we had been looking forward to Jess and Kahn’s wedding since they booked us a little over a year ago. We loved their relaxed vibe and just had a feeling their day was going to be pretty special.

Photographing and videoing weddings on private properties is always fun for us, there’s nothing quite like seeing a location with fresh eyes, it sparks creativity and excitement. Jess and Kahn’s wedding took place on her parent’s property in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, which her father and brother had lovingly transformed into an incredible venue for a backyard soiree. What was a grassy knoll, turned into an outdoor bar, open air dance floor and intimate ceremony space, we were blown away, it looked amazing.

Jess got ready on site, in her family home, surrounded by her favourite girls and the help of one of our favourites, Makeup Artistry by Lauren. Jess took everyone’s breath away, looking the absolute dream that she is and wearing a buttery silk, Orseund Iris dress. Her girls also looked amazing in sky blue dresses with puff sleeves, tying into the colour theme for the wedding: pastel.

Jess and Kahn requested that all their guests wear pastel colours and we have to say, having a colour themed dress code is one of the coolest trends we have seen - everyone looked very much a part of the wedding and it just looked so good.  

Kahn and his guys, also looked amazing in soft pink suits and Kahn in cream with a sky blue shirt.

This whole day was just stunning, from all the thoughtful details and colour palette to the palpable love and energy that surrounded everything, including the wonderful ceremony crafted, by our good pal, David Webber Marriage Celebrant.

We felt incredibly privileged for our team to be a part of this day and to capture this beautiful couple, who are clearly adored by so many.
