Dijon, Chartrettes and the Chateau De Rouillon

After the awe-inspiring scenery of the alps, we headed north for Paris, making a few stops on the way. We spent one night in the historic town of Dijon (home of the mustard) then two nights at the famed Chateau De Rouillon! Famous of course because we share the same last name ;) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and ate far too many sweet things for breakfast, Trent’s beard even turned a little French. We also ventured to the nearby town of Maincy to gaze upon the grandeaur of Chateau De Vaux De Vicomte and boy was it grand. We then ended our visit with a lovely sunset over the river Seine in Chartrettes.
